July 30 - Busch Series rookie and FBG Racing captain Reed Sorenson took the checkered for the second time this season when he won the Wallace Family 250 at Gateway International Raceway on Saturday. All of the G2 Busch Team Captains were contending for the win for much of the evening, but tire problems took SA Motorsports captain David Stremme out of the hunt, and Griffin Motorsports captain Martin Truex, Jr. was overcome by Sorenson with 33 laps to go. The FBG Racing captain was able to hold off the rest of the field, and stretched out a lead of .71 seconds during a green-white-checkered finish.
