With the 2005 season less than a month away, G2 Auto Racing announced today that it would begin fielding cars starting with the Hershey's 350. At a press conference held Wednesday in Daytona, Lincoln Griffin stated, "Both Frank and myself feel like this step is needed to make G2 Auto Racing stronger, and better prepeared for future endeavors". While no drivers have been officially determined, it is suspected that FBG Racing is eyeing Cup series driver Greg Biffle and Griffin Motorsports may try to continue thier strong alliance with DEI by signing Martin Truex Jr.
