Clint Bowyer and Griffin Motorsports part of history over the weekend. It was the first time ever in G2 Auto Racing existence that all three drivers finished 1, 2, 3. With Bowyer leading the way, JJ Yeley and Martin Truex Jr. finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. The weekend gives Griffin Motorsports a seemingly unsurpassable lead in the Championship standings with only 4 races left.  Posted by Picasa

History is made in the mountains of Virgina this weekend, as Clint Bowyer drives his way from the rear of the field to his second victory of the season. Along the way, Griffin Motorsports had the first ever 1, 2, 3 finish in the history of G2 Auto Racing. With JJ Yeley and Martin Truex Jr. finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively, Griffin Motorsports lead in the championship standings has grown to a seemingly unsurpassable amount with only 4 races left. News leaked this week of another Busch Series driver in the Griffin Motorsports stable heading to the Nextel Cup Series. Clint Bowyer will be joining Martin Truex Jr. as a full time driver in 2006. He will drive the 07 Jack Daniels machine, curently helmed by Dave Blaney.  Posted by Picasa
