September 9 - Not long after claiming the Bud Pole for the last regular season race of the year, Griffin Motorsports Buschwacker strapped into the Reese's Chevrolet and drove it straight to the front. Despite a small shuffle out of the lead during pit stops, Harvick passed SA Motorsports' Paul Menard for the lead with two laps to go and won the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond. Posted by Picasa

With a newfound attitude, Griffin Motorsports owner Lincoln Griffin seemed excited about his organization's chances of not only winning the first G2 Busch Series trophy, but also having his top two drivers battle it out for the Busch Championship. " I tell you, with as much that has gone wrong with our Cup program, it is a great feeling to see Martin and Clint on top of the Busch battling it out every week. Everyone knew what we were getting with Martin, but I think a lot of people are surprised about the year Clint has had. He has done a spectacular job for us, and I will be rooting both on, as we get closer to crowning a champ in Miami."  Posted by Picasa

August 3 - FBG Racing's Carl Edwards claimed his fourth win of the season when he took the checkered in Fontana on Saturday at the Ameriquest 300. Although it was an uncharacteristically uneventful evening for the Busch Series, pit strategy played the major role in Edwards' win, who crossed the finish line 1.71 seconds ahead of SA Motorsports Buschwacker Greg Biffle. Posted by Picasa
