July 30 - Busch Series rookie and FBG Racing captain Reed Sorenson took the checkered for the second time this season when he won the Wallace Family 250 at Gateway International Raceway on Saturday. All of the G2 Busch Team Captains were contending for the win for much of the evening, but tire problems took SA Motorsports captain David Stremme out of the hunt, and Griffin Motorsports captain Martin Truex, Jr. was overcome by Sorenson with 33 laps to go. The FBG Racing captain was able to hold off the rest of the field, and stretched out a lead of .71 seconds during a green-white-checkered finish. Posted by Picasa

Ju;y 23 - David Green led two laps Saturday at Pikes Peak...the last two. In a dramatic move, Green quickly dispatched G2 Auto Racing drivers J.J. Yeley, Martin Truex, Jr. and Kenny Wallace to pass Clint Bowyer two laps from the end of the ITT/Gould Pumps 250 to take the checkered for the first time in 60 races and secure a win for SA Motorsports.  Posted by Picasa

July 16th - Martin Truex, Jr. scored his 11th career Busch Series Win and his 5th win of the season when he took the checkered in Loudon on Saturday for the New England 200. Truex only led 13 laps the entire day, but passed Griffin Motorsports Denny Hamlin, who posted a career-high 3rd place finish, for the lead, and held off FBG Racing's Carl Edwards for a green-white-checkered finish. Truex currently leads the NBS Champsionship standings by 142 points. Posted by Picasa

July 9 - The USG Durock 300 was Buschwacked as Kevin Harvick took the checkered for Griffin Motorsports on Saturday, followed by Buschwackers Greg Biffle (SA Motorsports), Ryan Newman, Carl Edwards (FBG Racing) and Mark Martin, shutting out all Busch Series regulars in the top five spots. Harvick now has 15 career Busch Series wins. Posted by Picasa

July 1st - Martin Truex, Jr. scored his first career Daytona win and his fourth of the season when he took the checkered at the Winn-Dixie 250. Griffin Motorsports held the two top spots at the end of the race, with Buschwacker Kevin Harvick close on Truex's heels.
