First Trade Session Complete

April 28th - G2 Auto Racing Busch Team Owners convened today via email to hold the first trade session of the 2005 season. The results are as follows:

FBG Racing - Ryan Hemphill ( No. 4, Geico) released, Jon Wood (No. 47, Clorox) hired.
FBG Racing - Johnny Sauter (No. 1, Yellow) released, Kenny Wallace (No. 22, Stacker 2) hired.

Griffin Motorsports - Denny Hamlin (No. 20, Rockwell Auto.) activated, Jason Keller (No. 35, McDonald's) put on alternate status.

SA Motorsports - Kyle Busch (No. 5, Lowes) released, Greg Biffle (No. 66, Duraflame) hired.
SA Motorsports - Greg Biffle (No. 66, Duraflame) activated, Jeremy Mayfield (No. 64, Miller Lite and No. 6, Ragu/Hellmans/Country Crock) put on alternate status.

These changes to team rosters will remain in effect until August 28, when the owners will hold their second trade session of the season.

Although not competing in G2's Busch Series Saturday, FBG Racing's alternate Buschwacker Kasey Kahne led the No. 38 Great Clips Dodge across the finish line after passing FBG Captain Reed Sorenson with ten laps to go. This is Kasey's first Busch win since 2001 in Homestead, FL.

In a repeat performance Monday, Kevin Harvick recorded his first win of the 2005 season for Griffin Motorsports in the G2 Busch Series. After battling Jeff Burton for most of the day keeping his car out of the numerous wrecks at the half-mile bullring, Harvick's Busch win allowed him to sweep the NASCAR weekend at Bristol. Posted by Hello
